Devon Baggs, APCC, M.A.

Devon is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with a holistic approach that integrates nervous system awareness, mindfulness, and mind-body connection alongside the classical tools of CBT and DBT. Devon is deeply empathetic and passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. Her own experiences with family trauma and personal healing inspired her path toward becoming a therapist and shaped her belief in the transformative power of therapy and meaningful change.

Devon works with individuals who desire to move beyond old patterns, heal from trauma, strengthen their relationships, and develop a deeper connection with themselves. Devon sees her role as a guide; the client brings the map of where they want to go, and Devon supports them in staying on that path by helping them access the tools, strengths, and inner wisdom they innately have. She offers a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore emotions, fears, and hopes at their own pace while accessing the strengths and inner wisdom they already possess. Her approach incorporates EMDR, IFS, inner-child work, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation, with an emphasis on balance and self-compassion. Outside of therapy, Devon enjoys spending time in nature and is especially drawn to the ocean, where she enjoys outrigger canoe racing, standup paddleboarding, and scuba diving. She also loves exploring Santa Barbara with her partner and their golden retriever and shorthaired pointer.
