Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Minci Sekou Stenson is a Certified Psychaitric Nurse Practitioner who received her Doctorate specializing in mental health/psychiatry at the University of Arizona. She also has a background as a Women’s Health Registered Nurse and received her bachelor’s degree in science and nursing. She specializes in substance use disorders, mood, anxiety, and personality disorders along with medication management. Her philosophy in mental health is to treat each patient as an individual and focus on collaborative care. Her main goals are to focus on patient safety, stabilization of symptoms, education, teaching coping mechanisms and creating treatment plan that are sustainable for the patients after discharge. Outside of her passion for mental health, Dr. Stenson loves to travel the world to gain more knowledge about different cultures.

Our Los Angeles facility sits on Venice Boulevard between Marina Del Rey and Culver City, a few miles from Venice and Santa Monica with easy access to the 405 and 10.
