Talon Edson, PsyD

Talon is a postdoctoral psychology associate with eight years of experience in the field. He previously worked supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who were involved in the criminal justice system. Talon received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara.

A central component of Talon’s practice involves empowering clients to gain deeper insight into their mental health needs, cultivate self-compassion, and enhance distress tolerance. As a provider, he employs a pluralistic, collaborative, and solution-focused approach, integrating motivational interviewing, as well as dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. Talon is deeply committed to working alongside clients to develop practical strategies that will help them accomplish their treatment goals and promote lasting well-being.
